TOURNAMENTS

The organisors wish to thank all below for their help and support in making this a very special week for all concerned - thanks to : Salgados GC, Pinheiros Altos GC, Vale do Lobo GC's, Golf Check In, Pirata Restaurant, and Paula and Baz's Bistro and Bar.

The Tournament took place between the 17th and 24th November 2019 and played on the Salgados, Pinheiros Altos, Ocean and Royal courses

14 Pairs took part in the Competition with 2 Days of Better Ball and 2 Days of Combined Singles formats bringing the traditional finish to the event

Several new teams took part, with Yorkshire providing most players, along with the the Geordies and The Garden of England providing great competition and entertainment.

The LS Lowry Trophy this year went to Kenny Gilberthorpe for his imput into the Tournament although not being able to play this year ( Best wishes to Gillian from us all )

Daily prizes were won by : Alan Rooksby, Simon Winson, Ian Rothwell, Gary Judge, Paul Gallagher, Arthur Boylin, Michael Folb and Peter Bucknall.

Overall Top 5 Prize and Trophy Winners for 2019 were : 1. Alan Rooksby and Simon Winson - 188pts 2. Ian Rothwell and Gary Judge - 183pts 3. Pete Nield and Steve Hurt - 182pts 4. Arthur Boylin and Paul Gallagher - 180pts 5. Michael Folb and Peter Bucknall - 179pts
